Halcyon Day(s)

I would like to file a formal complaint with the organizers of the 2009 Fall event: where are the long strings of crisp, sunny days with air so fresh your lungs could explode, and the cool, dry nights that induce deep, restful sleep? You did allright on the leaf colors but the expected display was more than two weeks delayed.

Three days of rain, one day of sun, and rain for the foreseeable future. Only good thing about that is that I don't have to be out there watering and moving sprinklers around in some frigid temperatures.
