It is New Zealand
These are New Zealand's oldest buildings at Kerikeri. The first European to visit the area was Captain Cook who named the region, the Bay of Islands in 1769. The missionaries were invited in by the Maoris and some would say that the Maoris only wanted them for their muskets!
The Stone Store on the left is NZ's oldest stone building built between 1832 - 1836 to warehouse and trade mission goods.
The building in the middle is St James's Church opened in Dec 1878 with a service in Maori.
On the right is Kemp House, NZ's oldest building, built by Maori sawyers and English carpenters in 1822. Eventually occupied by Mr & Mrs Kemp and their 14 children.
And the first doctor here was William Williams!
