Unfinished business?
I was in this room constantly for six hours 40 minutes today. After a while my mind started wandering.
My dad was a master bricklayer and builder - his technical skill was second to none. I remember see him mitre brick on a six foot diameter circular refractory chimney at a 90 degree turn in the chimney. Nobody ever saw that work as it was hidden but it was a lesson in maths, engineering and craftsmanship.
I thought of him, with happy memory, when I looked up at this scene from my chair.
This is how a "modern" "finished" ceiling looks. Well there's no ceilings anymore. Just open piping, speakers, microphones, a projector, air modifiers and lights.
He wouldn't have believed it :)
