Calm before the storm - literally!

Took this five minutes ago and I am now sitting here with rain hitting the windows and thunder and lightning rolling around wondering if the power is going to go off!

Geoff has just left for work, there is a Burns night celebration at the campus, and as the last time he left for work on his own was Christmas Eve, I couldn't help but tell him to drive carefully and then the storm started as he pulled off the drive.

No move forward with replacing his car, although the insurance is agreed and a letter is in the post, it still hasn't arrived, and paperwork has to be completed before the monies are released, what a surprise, so another week of going early.

Now what to do with an evening on my own? Well I suppose it depends on whether the power is on or off!
