All Hail to English Weather!

On cat feeding duty and decided to go early for her 'tea', as I could then have a wander round the local shops near to where my son lives.
I picked the wrong time. Had to pull into a layby during a freak storm as I couldn't see out of the car windscreen. Hail, wind, thunder and lightning, wouldn't have been surprised to see snow as well. It didn't last long and now all is calm.
It was still pouring when I got to the house and the thunderstorm continued for some time. Maude, the cat, didn't seem bothered at all.
These hailstones greeted me at my front door when I got home.
Will now dry out and get ready to go to a Burn's Night at a local pub.
