Time to turn back!

As the morning was dry I went on a favourite local woodland walk. This was cut short as the path was closed due to the collapse of the bridge over the stream. The amount of water coming down the slope had made the ground unstable. I decided against paddling through the stream as it looked really slippery so retraced my steps.
It was a lovely walk though and I saw a dipper and jays amongst other birds.
I got back home just before torrential rain, thunder, lightning and hailstorms.
