Nantwich Holy Holly day

On my boat for the weekend after visiting my family in Ellesmere Port and Warrington and it just so happens that the 'Sealed Knot' invade Nantwich this weekend.
Holly Holy Day, an annual event is organised in association with the Sealed Knot and is the largest Civil War re-enactment in the country. The Battle of Nantwich was fought during the First English Civil War, between the Parliamentarians and Royalists on 25 January 1644. Members of the Sealed Knot certainly dress up for the occasion and after the 'Battle' keep the town pubs busy. A great weekend.
