Unpulped fiction
I'm having a clear-out, lots of old comic books that aren't suitable for children in hospital - too violent and too continued - but it seems a shame to pulp them. So it's off to Edinburgh science fiction shop, Pulp Fiction Books, which has nice rummage boxes - I donate, get some floor space and feel good and kids can buy 'em cheap.
Pulp Fictiom is a lovely, friendly place - thousands of books to read - novels, short stories, graphic novels, and of course, comics, at very reasonable prices. They hold several writers' groups weekly and serves great coffee in the cafe. Definitely worth a visit, it's in Bread Street, and online here.
And here's owner Stephen and the gang!
