Churchdown

One of the things I like about House of Fraser is that when they have a sale it is a proper sale. We popped in today and got some bedding at one third of the normal cost and a dressing-table mirror for half price. Very chuffed!

We then drove the three miles to Churchdown and just managed a couple of quick shots before the weather really closed in and it poured. Hence the dark misty picture.

Somehow we missed lunch so following a bag of prawn crackers and an early stir fry dinner we are pottering around before settling down in front of The Voice. We were wondering why we like it so much and decided it's because the judges are all very friendly to each other, the judges are all very talented in their own right and the contestants are all good singers. Sometimes nerves get the better of the performace on the night but they definitely can all sing. So, I don't get really nervous on their behalf. Instead I sit back, with a glass of wine and thoroughly enjoy the show.
