Working

I have been working on a baby blanket for Eden today. The pattern is bright and a bit psychedelic, I hope Bridget likes it!
Jacob came in wearing his helmet and riding his bike to see what I was up to. He held the tape measure for me and said baby on repeat when I told him who it was for. We realised when he was getting ready for bed tonight that when he's happy and engrossed in something (like making a pile of toys this evening), he repeats the phrase "mummy, daddy, mummy, daddy". It's really very sweet.
Julia and Nick are coming round for dinner. In the spirit of Burns night we are starting with (veggie) haggis bon bons and finishing with cranachan.
