Oasis of Calm

Sometimes you just need a moment like this!

Today has been busy with tutoring and reports. Then we headed out for a run in the ailing new lease of life Volvo. We intended to do a few things that needed to be done before the week got in the way underway, so headed for Wafi.

The sky was blue, the temperature just right and we didn't have to sit in a traffic jam. It doesn't get much better than that! Collected tickets for our 'Abba on the Rooftop Night' in a couple of weeks.....five of us going.....looking for a sixth if anyone's interested!!

On the way back to the ailing new lease of life Volvo, this scene caught my eye and I couldn't resist sharing it. Loaded with significance in a land that is 100% desert!!
and not too far from its roots.
