Local
Day spent locally, we went for a forest walk, that was pretty boggy and went round the old ground of Toward castle. This was used in the war by the forces and the area was used for testing of the dam busters and d day ladning practice.
After the walk we took in the local church and the local farm animals. The local estate was shooting the peasants it had released.
Our first big eco son and daughter fight, upset eco daughter and I went for a cycle up the loch. It was great and she just chatted away. We found a plastic duck on the beach, it had a number 179 on it, we had previously found number 426 these must have been escapees from a duck race.
Top find on the shore was a 2 blue and yellow fishing bouy, found some rope and tied it round my shoulder and cycled on with it.
We met the shooting party on the road on our way back, very smartly dressed ghillies and smart clients in a truck followed by various 4x4s. Had a chat about this and why they do it.
Met Eco son, rather humble figure, and we all cycled back together. The Eco kids and Juno went for a swim in the sea, freezing and with no wetsuits...hardy souls.
A very simple but fun day.
