Betsy had softball today. We took her friend Ellie with us. They are hilarious together. They make me laugh. They are me and her mum all over again.

I went for coffee with three of the other mums who I've become friends with - we had a nice time. The girls worked hard. They were all bright red and looked exhausted when we picked them up.

When I was in Starbucks I bought Betsy and Ellie s Duffin - a cross between a donut and a muffin. They said they were delicious!

Much later Betsy and I went out for a walk to the cemetery near us. It was getting dark and my favourite angel looked even more beautiful and mysterious than usual.
