the calm before the storm

Bikes packed into back of car for a trip round draycott water - the winds were really strong and it felt like I was looking at a choppy sea rather than a man made lake - it took much longer than I anticipated to get round once so stopped for food - just as we were tucking into our delicious cakes the heavens opened the skies went black lightening struck and the Lake broke its banks, unbelievable -

Getting to the car my box of cakes I had saved for mum were blown away in the wind and rain - sorry mum!!
