Kutna Hora

Most unusual day. We went on an organized trip from Prague to Kutna Hora - about an hour East of Prague on a train. Going through the snowy countryside was lovely and it got progressively colder. At Kutna Hora we went to Sedlec Ossuary - a huge room under a church were thousands of bones were 'stored' and displayed. This urn is just made of human bones as was a huge chandelier hanging from the ceiling. I thought it was going to seem really creepy but it didn't - just very bizarre. We then went to several other churches and ancient sites all around Bohemia and learnt a lot about the history. By this time it was approximately -10* so we were glad to get back on the warm train. Another fantastic day in Prague.
