Hanging in my Study

This picture lives in my study, which is where I spend most of my time at home. I fell in love with it and bought it on impulse and it then sat on the floor behind a sofa for about a year until my study was complete and ready for it. Now it is in pride of place.

I spent more time taking this photo than any in my journal so far. Each time I took it, it looked like the picture was hung on the wall wonky. It's made me realise that I need to start thinking about not just what I am taking a picture of but how I am taking the picture. Perhaps I'm starting to learn something.
