Within these walls

Tackled kitchen worktop number 2 today, and it was a little more work that the first. I knew this however, hence the reason for leaving it until the weekend. We had to work around central heating pipes, as well as refit and plumb in the sink for this one.

On removing the final few tiles we discovered lots of holes in the wall and two redundant back boxes where electrical switches or sockets had been. I'm always (but perhaps shouldn't be) surprised by the cover-ups diy-ers or builders make!!

Anyway, the blip is of the two redundant sockets which I think, in my progressive indoctrination into all things artistic, look rather good in an abstract way!
