Arena Cross

Great evening! Out at the Arenacross at the LG Arena in Birmingham. I know I'd get my blip from this evening although the thunderstorm earlier caused me some inner turmoil - when will my next opportunity to get a shot of lightning come?

I stuck to my original plan though (I was really prepared for a shoot at that time anyway.

My position wasn't great for closeup shots (I don't have a long lens and it may well have been confiscated on arrival judging by the questions I got from security) but this corner was great for action.

Played with a tilt-shift on it - a little too close for it really but I like the result.
