Coconut Chicken Again!

Bit of a downer day today. My sinus infection is still driving me nuts. Kate's Polar Bear Plunge fundraiser for the Maryland Special Olympics was cancelled. As a parent I'm secretly relieved that the organisers decided that temperatures below freezing, 20-25 mph winds, and 3 foot waves with ice in them, made conditions "unsafe" for the event to go ahead. Kate was soooooooo happy when she found out this morning! Chill day instead of chilly day! Then we heard that there had been a mass shooting at a mall 30 minutes from where we live. 3 people dead, with speculation that it may have been a domestic incident. Kids go back to college tomorrow so Kate and I got chance to watch one last chickflick. She picked Penelope, which wasn't that bad. Nice to see Nigel Havers is still around! So to dinner... Tom made his excellent coconut chicken curry, which everyone loves, and we ended the day on a high note.
