Juvenile Red-tailed Hawk

Mr. K and I went to the wildlife refuge today. It was incredibly cold and windy, but it was all worthwhile when I saw this beautiful hawk. He has a fierce expression close up.

Back to Philadelphia tomorrow for the rest of the library conference.
