Snake In The Grass

There used to be a snake in the roof space of this house - very common in Queensland. There's been no signs of one for well over a year, though today this python skin turned up in the garden.

When pythons outgrow their skins, they shed them. Though part of this skin was missing when found, it looks as if the owner is about 1-8 to 2 metres in length. Pythons are non-venomous - they simply coil round their prey and squeeze. Be careful who you hug!
