Den Haag Home From Home

And now I am in The Hague.  Travelled here with two students.  

Arriving at the train station (coming from Amsterdam airport) around midnight Nederlands time:

Us to the taxi driver:  "Can  you take us to our hotel please"
Taxi driver: "Of course.  Where have you come from?"
Us: "Istanbul"
Taxi driver: "Turkmusunuz ?"
Us: "Evet"

Yup. Our Netherlandish Taxi driver was Turk. Thus ensued much jolly chat until arriving at our lovely hotel downtown Den Haag.   The photo shows some bizarre wall and ceiling decor in the lobby which in fact, is not strip neon lighting - but is a kind of installation in wood, lit up from below in poor night lighting conditions.
