The garden

I finally got round to doing some work in the garden - getting it ready for winter. They say next week we might actually get winter weather, and since most bulbs have started to pop up, and plants are already starting to flower - I thought I'd take some time to remove weeds, and cover the soil and new shoots with turf. I can only hope the winter won't be as bad as the last one, not as cold, then maybe we will have a lovely spring display - last year all the tulips and narcissus had died due to late frost.

The kids played outside for a bit, keeping me company, and staying out long after I decided it was too cold and I went inside again :)
