Custard Apple

Or an Annonaceae to give it its proper name. You are not alone if this is the first time you've heard of one. I'd never heard of one until yesterday when we bought these. I love the pattern on the skin

They are supposed to have a custard like taste (hence the name). Not tried it yet but will be having it later today.

Edit - I was reminded to actually say they are about the same size of an avocado. Meant to say that first time around.
