Ted at the Grammar School!

After lunch we had a drive to Colne to take a blip in-between the showers. The old Grammar School is next to the Parish church and the Titanic Museum has just moved out and gone to Liverpool.

The Grammar School was built in 1812. John Tillotson was a pupil at the earlier building on the site and later became the Archbishop of Canterbury (1691 - 1695). Another pupil, Richard Baldwin accidentally killed a school mate and then fled to Ireland, where he later became Dean of Dublin University.

Ted was impressed with my knowledge of the place.

We are going to my sons for a meal tonight, the meal we had to cancel twice because I was ill over Christmas and the beginning of the year.
