The hunt for..............

I'm betting not many of you expected me to be blipping a Soviet submarine on this showery Sunday! This is a Foxtrot-class hunter killer. Her job was to find and destroy NATO subs had the Cold War turned hot. Whether she'd have been much good at this is unknown but the design was inefficient and her three propellers were noisier than the opposition. Built in 1967 and decommissioned in 1994 I think she's held here in case our neighbours in Essex try to launch a sneak attack over the river. She's 300 foot long so check her out in large.
