The sunburst before the downpour

We're still in Dunfermline and this morning after breakfast we decided to drive to Perth. It was raining incessantly and near Kinross we noticed that the rain was turning into wet snow and the hills were getting whiter and whiter. But also that the temperatures were decreasing, so we went back to the hotel, not wanting to get stuck in icy rain and snow. This afternoon in Dunfermline it cleared up enough to take a short walk around the neighbourhood and the sun broke through, even if the clouds in the distance did look very menacing. It did give these lovely colours and shadows in the Sinclair Gardens, Dunfermline's Public Park.
