Grey and rainy

Terrific rain storm this morning. I had intended to do my RSPB birdwatch stint today but all the birds seem to have gone to ground. I tried for a while this afternoon in a break in the rain but didn't see anything apart from seagulls, so I guess I'll have to register nil seen.
