Desperate times...

...call for desperate blips!

A day of black skies, torrential rain and then more rain and black skies!

So most of the day has been spent researching my trip to Edinburgh, and enjoying watching the antics of one of the Giant Pandas that are at Edinburgh Zoo, via the zoo's Pandacam! Toffee was equally transfixed by the panda who spent most of the day swinging in his hammock, contentedly chewing his way through a mountain of bamboo!

Probably not the best day/weather to carry out the RSPB Birdwatch survey, but I did my best. Our garden is normally alive with birds but maybe the weather put them off today, still the results could have been worse: 2 of each male and female Blackbirds, 3 Blue Tits, 2 Goldfinches, 1 Dunnock, 2 Black Caps, 1 Robin, 1 of each female and male Sparrow, 12 starlings, 1 Magpie and 2 Wood Pigeons!
