Watching paint dry

What was to be a simple job for Mr S to put a tv bracket on the wall has escalated. Plasterboard walls don't secure brackets with TVs very well so have had to put up extra support which requires painting. Plus it has to hide some rather large holes in the wall!! Now have to apply numerous coats of paint to a piece of wood and still no tv on the wall yet.
