As darkness falls

DDW's January 2014 Challenge Day 26: Silhouette

Darkness didn't really fall so much this afternoon as it didn't actually manage to get very light all day. This was our afternoon walk in the woods, trying to shelter as much as we could from the wind and rain.

The dogs loved it and played hard. Both returned muddier than we have ever seen them before. Sigyn needed shampoo to make her acceptable enough to be allowed in the house.

In other news, we've had a good day of cleaning (mostly dog mud and dog hair) from around the house. PW donned his pinny and shampooed the carpets (they are now a much brighter in their vileness;). We have cooked a big vat of chicken curry which we will devour tomorrow when Mum & Dad PW come for dinner and drop off Evie the Wonderdog. She is staying with us for a few weeks...she'll be thoroughly disgusted when she realises she is lodging with our two idiots.
