Enlightenment

We couldn't get to church this morning - my car refused to drive through an enormous flood. So we defaulted to Plan B.

I went for a walk in the woods and took photos of the waterfall in glorious spate. I got wet, of course. Made some bread and soup, as our friend Bruce was coming for tea.

I read a bit of a book which a blip friend had recommended, and then Sarah and I went for an hour of meditation at Dumfries Northwest. Just what I needed.

Tonight, we are off to Flicks in the Sticks to see 'The Angels Share". Not bad for a rainy day.
