A snowy day off ..
After a rather lovely lie-in we (my sister and her partner and I) headed off to Masham - via the moors to see if I could get any wildlife/grouse shots en route ..
The higher we drove, the snowier it became, and before we quite made it to the very top, the car started losing traction and we couldn't quite make it! So Chris managed to turn the car around and we retraced and went to Masham by the longer, lower route, where I took this photo of a red grouse.
We had chips and a cuppa and mooched about the arty gallery shop. I wish I were rich - there were some gorgeous bird sculptures there including this amazing raven sculpture!
As we headed home we dropped into another gallery, and I bought this gorgeous lino-cut of a beautiful short-eared owl.
I love it.
I may take a better photo and blip it, one day.
