Silhouettes

A trip to the East Neuk! We escaped the awful weather in Edinburgh, and although it rained pretty much all the way to Elie, it had stopped by the time we got there. We only had to contend with biting wind, a bit of spray, and latterly a bright orb in the southerly sky that looked familiar although we hadn't seen it in a while, and seemed to cause interesting light effects. Showers, nay rain storms, seemed to be passing us by on all sides, to the north and the south. But we remained lucky.

A lovely lunch in the Ship Inn with friends who drove down from Dundee was followed by a bracing walk to the lighthouse, the bathing shelter and back again.
