Rain, Sleet, Mix, Snow

Before we got the worst snowstorm in October since I can remember, it was rain - a cold, consistent rain. In no time at all the world turned white. We set off to make our normal 3 hour journey north to our hometown and made it in a record long 5 hours. Luckily it all melted, but not before car accidents piled up and power went down all over the region. Up north? Nothing but rain - that's the lake effect for ya.
