Hobbies

In the past, it seemed like boys had hobbies. Hobbies where they actually did something as opposed to being passive and watching TV or playing X-Box. Boys whittled, collected stamps, played harmonica, fished, and built models.

Because of my son's studies to become an airplane mechanic, he is in a plane-obsessed milieu. Some of the guys enjoy building model airplanes and have introduced him to the hobby. My son decided to give model-building a try and he is really enjoying himself. After a day of school, a five hour work shift, working on a model really seems to relax him.
