.... Mummy has been torturing me"
Poor Ferdinand.
First I discovered he is in fact a red and white spaniel, we thought he was red and mud coloured, it was a bit of a shock.
Then I managed to clip a grand total of about 4 claws before he pitched a fit (this is a record, and normally I would take him to the vets or groomers but lacking in funds).
Then I managed to groom and trim (hack away fur) his ears and comb his top knot.
Ferd managed to steal the biccie bribe before I was even done.
I was hoping to make headway with the rest of grooming, but he stubbornly stayed damp for most of the day.
My lofty aim is to trim him right back and maybe attack him with Mr Mouses hair clippers, I fear I will have to settle for hacking knots out and doing my best.
But I have watched YouTube videos on how to do his ears properly, too late for today, need to find the thinning scissors for future attempts (you know when the hacked off bits grow a bit).
And in other news I actually cooked, as in proper cooking, as in chopping up veg and stuff and not just opening a packet.
I cooked:
Roasted squash and spinach lasagne
Apple and blackberry crumble
And I even made custard (ok that wasn't from scratch, I used custard powder)
Even better the lasagne will do two more meals and there is enough crumble for tomorrow
Hurrah
My belly filled with pudding is happy (it's been asking for pudding for a while).
:)
(Though I believe Mr Mouse couldn't keep dinner down :( he is feeling rather poorly).
