Fire Still Burning

Another day with weather very similar to yesterday. Miserable and rainy until late afternoon and suddenly a window of dry! We'd taken a trip over to Milton Keynes to get a bit better prepared for our upcoming trip to Yosemite in February. It's seemed a long way off for so long but suddenly February is nearly here.

On the drive back we took a few back routes looking for a photo opportunity. As the sun appeared, all too briefly a few shots were rattled off. The contrast between light and dark was huge so the best shots were actually where the sun was shielded, this being my favourite.
