Beneath the Surface

Had the best day!

Spent the morning in Evolution Audio Studio with Ness, Lucy and Niall. Ness was recording three new songs. It has been ages since I have heard her sing properly and I have never seen her in the studio before. I think she about as good as Adele but maybe I am slightly biased. Then I listen to her talk and the Cannock accent brings us back to reality.

We then took a trip to the Bullring. I treated myself to tablet - the new Microsoft Surface - to take to my new job and use for travelling as my trusty laptop has finally died. Ness brought her flights to New Zealand! So so excited for her! I cannot wait to join her over in the Southern Hemisphere within the next 12 months! Expensive few hours for us both.

Ness then played host at my house whilst everyone started to arrive for the evening. A quite shift at work meant I was home for 9. Spent the rest of night drinking and catching up with friends from Leeds and home. Bonuses of a free house for a fortnight - managing to get everyone in the same place for a night for free!
