Another night and day of wild weather. Today we had high winds, hail, intensely heavy rain, and moments of brilliant sunshine.

I was still cold from my wait on the beach yesterday so didn't really mind being car-lessly at home all day while the wind roared round the house. The big eucalyptus tree is becoming a bit of a worry and we decided we are definitely going to get it pruned.

I had a lazy day, catching up on letter (well, email) writing and various other bits and pieces.

This is a gerbera I have on the windowsill. Summer colours, a hint of things to come. (I hope).
