Currimumdi Lake!

This morning we went to Currimundi Lake. It's a really lovely spot where a river comes into a large shallow area then goes out to sea. Chris and Leona hadn't been there before but instantly loved it! The kids had a great time being carried with the current. We took the kayaks and some of Chris and Leona's friends (Kim and Matt and their two kids) came up from Brisbane and met us there. They had a kayak too that could fit the four of them in it so they all went for a kayak together!

Kim and Matt stayed at our house the night and the kids had a great time playing together and mucking about in the pool! We had a BBQ for tea and had no trouble putting the kids to bed after such a big day!
