A bitter pill to swallow

Poor Alfie (cat) has flaky skin on his back, mainly because he's so lazy he only washes his paws, tum and face! So the vet has given me some Omega3 oil capsule for him. They are enormous! I managed to get one down his throat yesterday but I was scared stiff he'd choke on it. It's too stressful to attempt that again so I'm going to have to either cut them open and mix in with his food (he'll know!) or again cut it open and squirt it down his throat. At least humans can take it with a glass of water to wash it down!
