Life with The Pinks

Telling a story

This morning we got to church on time! Early in fact. This is good! It was a good service, lots of worship and the talk was about the Holy Spirit. And a plug was given for the food bank collection. The mini pinks enjoyed Sunday school, according to Miss Pink they talked about friends. And they both enjoyed the cake that was there for afterwards. (So did I).

We came home with a tub of clotted cream, which prompted a scone baking session!! We had warm scones with clotted cream at lunch - yum!

The mini pinks did their homework after lunch, and then Mr Pink and I made the start of Miss Pink moving back into her new room. I say start because she hasn't actually got a bed yet (master pink is still sleeping in it, and his bed arrives Thursday). She also doesn't have new curtains or bedding yet but she's ok about it, and very excited to be in her "garden".

The rest of the day has been a muddle of monopoly, fuzzy felts, seeing, drawing, cooking and sandwich making. And Miss Pink telling me a story from the book she had "written". It was a story about a bad fairy, who was naughty, and sometimes she even liked to show off her bottom! The fairy was naughty and did tricks on people, and she got worse and worse, but in the end she becomes a very nice and good mermaid. The End.
