Garden Birdwatch

I spent an hour looking at the garden birds in aid of the RSPB's Garden Birdwatch. I spotted:

1 great tit
2 robins
2 blackbirds
2 blue tits
1 magpie

For the evening, Fred and I ventured into far north London. This is quite a trip for folks from South London and we mis-timed our trains, ending up spending half an hour at Finsbury Park station in the cold. There was a gentleman selling tea and wafer biscuits, so it wasn't too bad. We eventually found the pub and the birthday party. We had great banter with our friends and we're very excited about a trip we have planned in March. There was a lot of chat about that. Happy Birthday, Alex!
