Hand Painted Bowl
I did nothing exciting and went nowhere today. Well okay, I did some riveting stuff like laundry and cleaning but nothing blip worthy. The cold and snow made me feel content to just stay home.
I had this bowl sitting on the table filled with fruit but I decided to empty it and take a photo of the hand painted interior.
I brought this back from Mexico although I didn’t buy it. I almost did but the locals that were trying to sell it to us on the beach were asking too much and they didn’t want to negotiate. That same day when we got back to our hotel room there were a couple of cold beers and this bowl filled with guacamole and chips compliments of my husband’s company. There was note with the snack that said to keep the bowl as a token gift of our visit. They gave us quite a few surprise gifts included a fabulous cookbook that is filled with wonderful recipes and gorgeous photos of Mexico.
Tomorrow I have a dentist appointment and as you can well imagine I’m not looking forward to it. I guess there is no point in complaining about it but somehow it makes me feel better to do so. I guess misery likes company in this case. After all, nobody likes going to the dentist!
