Children's pool

Watched the Chelsea stoke game then skyped dad.

Drove out to santee with the wife to pick up her pampered chef items she bought last weekend. Then drove to la jolla and had a breakfast bagel and muffin at a cafe there. Babe came along for the ride so we walked along the cove.

They have knocked down the old, derelict lifeguard station which makes the place look much nicer. They are in the process of building a new one. It's getting into seal pupping season which means a bone of contention for the pro/anti-seal people. Those that want to get access to the sea at children's pool and those that want the seals and pups left in peace.

The regulations in effect are pro seal and have had unwelcome effects as more and more pinnipeds make the cove their home. What was thought to be a stench of bird poop on the cliff turns out now (after a lot of time and money spent clearing the bird poop) seal poop. As such further round the cove they have made a gate in the fence ontop of the bluffs so people can walk along and "scare" the wildlife but not directly as that is still forbidden.

Then home for some more organizing and prepping for mums arrival tomorrow!
