Sour -puss

I struggled to find anything close to being sour for the topic today, the only blip that I shot that came close was this sour faced little Koala who lives in Yanchep National Park, the sourest face on a Koala I've ever seen..
look on the bright side, I could have published a kookaburra with a sour face :-)

We drove up into the hills this "Australia Day" public holiday, our weather today was a pleasant 31c with a cool South West Breeze.
We parked along side the Avon River for lunch, we took a walk around the town later, over the suspension bridge, then along the River, there were plenty of Pelicans and two white Swans with two cygnets, still with their dull grey feathers, in the next few months they will soon become as beautiful as their parents.
Northam is the only place in Australia they can survive, they have a breeding programme there to ensure their survival for the future.
They were introduced into W.A in the 1900's. The White Swan became a protected species in the 1950's ....
