Screenwriters Festival 2009

Ooh, I've left the library. Not only that but I've left the country. Well, sort of, I'm in England.

First day of the Screenwriters Festival - it was great but I'm exhausted. Goodness knows what state I'll be in at the end of the four days.

This is the rather impressive hall at Cheltenham Ladies College. It's slightly Hogwartian in an Arts and Crafts way. The gentlemen on the stage are, on the left, the film producer Kevin Loader and on the right, the screenwriter/producer/director/genius Armando Iannucci. The session was about the improvisation of Iannucci's feature In The Loop. Loved it.
