Light a candle

Today is the first anniversary of my mother's death. As it happens it is also Holocaust Memorial Day. So a day for remembering, which I did with a dear friend over lunch, remembering too the confusion of our teenage years as we respond to the needs of the teenagers in our care. We lit candles and said a prayer called Light One Candle, a song about Hanukkah from Peter, Paul and Mary's album No Easy Road. It is on you tube here.
