I have been thinking about volunteering at a mental health organisation where I had a job interview a few weeks ago (I didn't get the job).

I mentioned at the interview that if I didn't get a job soon, it was a place I would be interested in volunteering at.

I will look into volunteering with my personal adviser when I sign on on Wednesday. They say if you are not available for work or to look for work then you don't get paid, so I need to find out if this can work.
